Wear + Care Guide

How to Wear Gaiter Pods Gaiters:

Made with recycled fabrics, Gaiter Pods Trail & Mountain Running Gaiters are stretchy, quick to put on, ultra-lightweight, and easy to wear.

Gaiter Pods attach to the front of your running shoe via Made in Europe lightweight webbing & CPSIA compliant snaps.

Simply slip the webbing under your shoe laces and press the snap shut! With the webbing & snap system, you’ll have no worries about weather/wash rusted metal hooks or cutting your fingers mid-race on metal hooks or getting tangled or snagged in corded attachments.

Gaiter Pods attach to the back of your shoe via hook & loop (think Velcro). Soft Velcro loop is sewn to the inside back of each gaiter. Rough or Hook Velcro attaches to your shoe, via the sticky-back Velcro included with your purchase. Simply place sticky-back Velcro on your shoe where the gaiter feels most comfortable and secure, and pull down the back of the gaiter into position, so the loop and hook align.

  1. Slip your foot through the gaiter, snap end toward your laces.

  2. Feed webbing/snap under your desired shoelace attachment point.

  3. Snap the snap shut. Ah, snap!

  4. Pull the back of the gaiter down along your heel to the point where the Velcro hook and loop meet. (The first time you use your gaiters, you’ll need to secure the enclosed attached sticky Velcro to each shoe where you best like the gaiter fit).

  5. Easy, peasy. Happy Running!

How to Care for Gaiter Pods Gaiters:

Gaiter Pods are made from ultra lightweight, though strong, stretchy, recycled fabric, which makes the gaiters ideal for outdoor adventures, however, this fabric is not impenetrable, indestructible, or tear proof, and requires thoughtful care.

We suggest hand washing or machine wash gentle in cold water, inside out and separately, and hang drying to extend the life of your Gaiter Pods. Skip the bleach. Skip the iron. Skip the dryer.

Gaiter Pods are not guaranteed to make you run faster, farther, or longer, but we hope you’ll discover that they make your running experience on and off the trail better–and make you look even better doing it. Really good.

Be sure to carefully read wash and care instructions on the included labels.
